Raw Biscuits ( gluten free)

I went through a faze of eating biscuits a few months and gained some weight due to the high fat from the butter. So I wanted to see if I could come up with a healthy raw biscuit. I’m going to experiment again to see if these come out ok cooked. There’s no flour in these or butter yay!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup oat flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup filtered water

I turned the oats into flour then soaked them soaked over night not too much liquid was added. I added all the ingredients to my food processor then I formed the batter into biscuits and dehydrated for 4 hours at 110° then flipped and dehydrated for 3 more hours.

These are my new go to biscuits and they are leaving me completely guilt free. Feel free to top with any gravy. I made a simple onion gravy.

Onion gravy recipe ( this was cooked I’ll come up with a raw gravy though)

1/2 cup water
1/2 of a yellow onion
1 tablespoon better than bouillon vegetable broth low sodium
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Black pepper
2 tablespoons oat flour

Combine water and onion, soup broth, seasoning in a pot. Cook until onion is fully cooked. Then transfer to blender set to low it’s hot might splatter. Add in the oat flour. Add to biscuits and enjoy!
